I am sure most people have not seen it...lol....

Are you talking about waiting in-line to download a file?

In netflix, you place movies in your Order Queue, and they are shipped to you in the order you set their "priority"....

it basically has a textfield beside each item in your list, and the list is sorted by the number highest to lowest....

so say that you want "African Cave Party Volume 3" to be second in your queue, and currently, the textbox says that its "8" as far as priority.....when you go and type "2" in the box where "8" was, and hit "Update Queue" it cycles through and puts the movie i wanted in spot number 2 and re-orders the others so that you dont have two "#2's".... ill attatch a screen shot of the file for yall to look at....i just need to know how any of you would write a function to go through and like do what i described....i fear im far to yellow to figure it out

    thank you so much!

If I had time I could write the code but I am a little busy trying to code stuff at work.

I could do it very easy with .NET and it is not hard with asp.

Basic idea is you return the form with the values, you check what values have been updated and you update the database with the new values.

The tricky part is to make sure that no values repeat. That could be done with JavaScript or on the server side.

I was thinking about joining that service, but got digital cable instead which has free movies to watch at anytime.
