    asp cannot load in my webserver

    hi all;

    I am learning asp, using a guidebook for examples & samples code.

    I also have a web server installed and running on my win2000 laptop.

    somehow, the server does not load asp pages. it does nothing when pointing to the web folder.

    HTML files a re ok though. I can confirm the web server (IIS) is correctly configured.

    I also can load asp when browsing other live pages on the internet.

    any advice ?

    are you sur you've put your asp pages in the INETPUB/wwwroot folder? You must type in the url of your browser http://localhost

    start with this url, something should appear in your browser.

    Some anti-virus software (Norton) breaks ASP pages which use the FileSystemObject. http://www.dmxzone.com/showDetail.as...=7&NewsId=3442
