    Problem viewing ASP pages on local PC

    i am currently using Winxp Pro. i installed IIS , put my project into inetpub/wwwroot folder then go internet explorer type in http://localhost/asp [ MY default.htm in ASP folder] but i cannot is cannot display the page saying this page cannot be found. i type in http://localhost same thing happened.

    If you can't see localhost, then my only guess is that IIS service is stopped. Is it definitely a 404 error you're getting?

    when i installing IIS this message box pop out... i dun noe wat to do

    Urg.

    That looks like something went wrong with your IIS installation. I don't know XP pro at all, and can only suggest that you try uninstalling and reinstalling.
