Arrow Debugging Simple Problem "remove commas"

    Hi guys!
I'm trying to clean up a form that someone else created, its a survey, pretty simple; it registers the results in a ACCESS database.

However, it generates commas in the results, and I can't find it where it does that. So often there will be a comma before or after the data in each field.

    More specificaly its "qu1" "qu2" "qu3" and "qu4"

    Here is the code!
    The survey:
    http://gearup.hawaii.edu/registratio...s/printtwo.asp
The script that adds it to access:
    http://gearup.hawaii.edu/registratio.../sureg_add.asp

    Thank you!

If the fields are checkboxes, then comma-space ", " is the separator inserted by HTML, not ASP.

Your form has lots of things called "qu4". Some are text boxes, some are check boxes. There may be others.

When your form-processing ASP script says Request.Form("qu4"), it gets everything in the form that has a name "qu4". If there's more than one thing, it separates each thing with a comma.
