    Question Is it possible to get information about client's machine ?

    I need to find the information about Client machine's Information like :

    Avaliable sapce on clinet's machine ?

    RAM size ,

    Operation System,

    Is any way we can find this values . heard on some blog that by using Active X control we can get it but didnt get information about that control.

    Anybody knows about such type of control ?

    Please guide.

    You can use an Active X control to do it, but I highly doubt that anyone outside of your organization will allow you to do this.

    With ASP, you can get the OS (use Request.ServerVariables("HTTP_USER_AGENT"), this will get you Browser & OS), but RAM and Available space will need to be done with either a Java [ NOT JavaScript ] applet or an ActiveX script (see note above).
