    strange

    strange to look for your own metas , normally you can add them dynamicly from xml or a database

    you know them before they are in you html page

    if you really need it you can get them with asp net and regular expression by scrapping your own site

    but it is really a strange way

    scrappig

    with xml you can have all your metas , it is what I am doing for my own, i Have mtas from a dazabase for products wich are changing all the time , and for more "stable" metas , as pages categories , al is into an xml file

    like so :

    <metas>
    <meta lang="fr" page="agorabrok">
    <title>agorabrok l'achat gagnant</title>
    <description>agorabrok prix casses pour le bureau et la maison</description>
    <keywords>agorabrok, informatique, fournitures, mobilier, equipement de bureau, services generaux
    fournitures, </keywords>
    <premierTexte>Tout pour le bureau et la maison.Informatique, fournitures, consommables, matériels, mobiliers
    et plus encore. Consultez nous avant tout achat. Des opportunites siderantes tous les jours.</premierTexte>
    <survol>Attention ! site mine d'affaires</survol>
    </meta>

    ect....

    then I have a dynamic HEAD and a function to generate <title ect.... for each page

    but

    but you still say "searching for your own site.." that's a point I don't understand

    if you want to get metas from other sites ... I understand better :-)))

    You can use the filesystem object to open each page and using a regular expression search each page for specific things. The link below will give you some information on it.

    Again, I'm not sure why you'd want to. It just seems logical to store it in a database table and just query it.
