    how do i keep my form from returning to the top after each selection?

    I'm trying to format a contest entry form so that it matches the rest of my site. The entry form is ASP.NET, the site is CSS and HTML. The weird thing is that on this specific page, when I specify a DOCTYPE, the page goes back to the top everytime someone makes a change to the form. But, of course, if I remove the DOCTYPE, my CSS acts strangely. I'm sure this will be ridiculously easy to fix (at least, I'm hoping so) but my knowledge and understanding of code is very limited, so I cannot figure it out. Please help!

    you can do 2 things,
    put your form in an iframe with no borderes or scroll bars, then when it submits it will do it in the iframe and the whole page will not refresh, or you can add a
    Code:
    <a name="placetogo" >
    where you want the page to goto...
    and then redirect your page to youpage.htm#placetogo and it will go to the specific place everytime.
