    Get data from Access DB.

    Hello,
    I'm kinda new in asp development and I'd like to ask a couple of things.
    First of all, is it possible to display data of an access database in a predesigned HTML template?
    If so, how is it possible to display these data, (i mean which is the code, due to the fact that in Visual Studio '15 i only found gridview so far.)
    Finally, is this "Connect to database coding" right? And where should i place it in the code.

    ---------------
    <asp:AccessDataSource
    id="EmployeesAccessDataSource"
    DataFile="~/App_Data/Northwind.mdb"
    runat="server"
    SelectCommand="SELECT EmployeeID, FirstName, LastName FROM Employees" />
    ----------------

    P.S. These questions might seem sily, but as i said, i'm new in asp coding so i'm still learning!

    Thank you,
    in advance!

    Make sure you are not confusing classic asp with asp.net they are TOTALLY different from one another.

    That said, a grid view control can be dragged and dropped onto your asp.net web form.

    Frequently, this error occurs because you do not have correct permissions to gain access to the database (.mdb) file. By default, ASP.NET runs under the ASPNET account in the .NET Framework 1.0, and under NetworkService in the .NET Framework 1.1. You must have modify permissions on the .mdb file and the folder where the file is located. For more information, see the REFERENCES section.
