Visual Studio is showing strange characters

I am using visual studio 2005 and after I wrote some code, I pressed ctrl-s to save it. But I think I accidently pressed some other keys in my keyboard and now my visual studio editor looks horible with dots and arrows. (These dots and arrows come every time I press a tab key or space bar - as a green dot or arrow) So its very unreadable for me.

How can I get rid of these setting? I tried almost every thing from Tools > options window but nothing is working out.

I thought of attaching a screen shot of my editor with code. But when I click the icon to attach it, it simply asking for url. But the screen shot is in my desk top. So if any one want to see it, could you please tell me how to attach?

    Please help me
