We need objective information on how to make our site better.

Okay, I can see why you put the annoying motions and sounds in there, but... Are they necessary? At least cut out the "yay!". It's cute the first 3 or 4 times, but it's far too old by the 20th. On the bright side, I guess it must be some clean animation coding, because it loads a lot more quickly than a lot of sites (though I do have broadband Internet).
On the home page, you associate each section with a different color, but the site sections themselves ignore those colors. What happened?

Ha Ha, I was thinkin the same thing about the colors.
The home page is great colors/effects. Then you get sub categories and they are all the same. With this site being a church website you want to introduce a "bright" first impression to viewers, that warm inviting feeling. Its hard to do this with colors that are so monotone.
Other than that, the flash is great Its definently one of the better ones Ive seen. I would recommend that you add an option to turn sound OFF/ON. Sound is great the first time you visit a site, but other times it can be distracting to visitors hearing "ting" "ting" "ting ting ting". Give them the option to turn it off if needed.
If you like, take a look at this church site HERE (http://www.phoenixfirst.org/). They recently revamped their site with flash and its very colorful and the flash animations are just enough that I found myself twirling the mouse around just to watch the animations.

Thanks for the review. Please feel free to be open as the developer has flown the coup and we are discussing what we need to do to go forward. :)

nice intro - although it does move pretty quickly, i didn't have time to read all the quotes and whatnot... but it does load very quickly!
-the colours, you should definitely keep to them throughout the whole site
-the weird "crunching" noise that goes every time you click almost makes you wanna puke, reminds me of squishing a bug
but your site looks great otherwise - luv the intro, just slow it down!
