PHP: Resize Pic

I'm looking for a script that will echo the resized image, but not actually resizing the actual image on the database. I found something but I don't really understand it. (http://www.sitepoint.com/article/image-resizing-php)

Can someone give an example of getting an image, and echoing a scaled down verson (Height=113, width=125)? Just the basics, I'll add in the details.

I scanned through the article you linked to and I really don't know what more could be added to cover the topic, it is spot on. Did you try running the code provided in that article?
