Hey
I need some help. I need to mix two javascript slideshow scripts. Or if soemne knows one that does both, even better.
I found a script that has a play, pause, rewind and forward button which is awesome. Found it here

Click on slideshow and can see it there. Works great. But...I need some fading put into it. I found a site that does fading
http://host.sonspring.com/slideshow/
But it doesn't have the pause, play and such buttons that I need. Does anyone know how to mix the two scripts or know of one that has the play buttons and fades, and the fading works in all browsers? The fading feature needs to work in opera, firefox and IE.
Thanks for any help!:)

Here is a free one, change the effect = 23 var to 12

http://www.perlscriptsjavascripts.com/js/slideshow.html

This is browser specific. otherwise, it just does the slide, no effects.

Thats a pretty cool one. Only thing is though, I need the effects to work in all browsers, not just IE...That zone in and out feature is pretty cool though.

One way of acheiving that fading effect would be to place the next image under the current image. Then, change the background opacity of the current (top) image to slowly reveal the next image. (using filter: alpha(opacity=x); -moz-opacity: x/100; alpha for IE and -moz-opacity for moz...)
That's whay I would do, I'm sure there are other ways.
