I think you need to update your skills and get up to date with standards. Tables aren't for web design. Seeing as how this is your portfolio site it should at least be valid and tableless unless displaying data. You have 57 coding errors on your main page alone.

Hey i don't know, no offense, but you need to work more on yourself before you can do this for money, you need to change graphic style because this style was "in" maybe 5 years ago but not now, so the coding ... sorry but if you have 140 errors on your homepage with W3C validator you can't make paid site...
... also I can't believe you have 7 years of experience, I have about 2-4 years of experience (maybe some <html><font blah></html> 6-7 years ago :D ) and I have to admit that my work looks more reliable...
PS: I saw the code of one of your page..
<!-- ImageReady Slices (winter_wonderland.psd) -->
sorry, but I was rolling on the floor laughing :D ...

While her style might not be 'in' this season, its still highly popular with clients. Who are you to say that every site should look like the latest fad? Its what the client wants thats important.
As for image ready slices and non-semantic code, well guess what - 90% of clients couldnt give a rats ***, so long as they get what they want, fast and cheap.
As for reliable? Lets talk about the inconsistant implementation of webstandards and css accross all major browsers shall we? Whereas I'm pretty sure that ye olde fashioned tabled designs are more more consistant and reliable x-browser.
Dont even get my started on the validator (cos I'm late for work) but you cant make a paid site if you dont validate? Think again. Just an example here but take a look at www . inphi . net (sorry, dont want search engines picking up on this) 30 validation errors on their homepage, all tables, dreamweaver template and yet they've won web design awards - they charge about £65 an hour for the work they do and their studio is packed.
I'm not advocating using tables for design or ignoring accessability issues BUT this *****y sniping all the time is really wearing thin. If you're so much better than her, then she's no threat to you - leave her alone.
Everyone gets the clients they deserve.
PS. Gary, dont put you'reself down, you're very talented

Thank you guys for those who stood up for me. Nancy & Gary :D I have taken the "Criticism" about my designs and have redesigned a page. And yes its in tables before anyone says anything and no I have not had the time to validate it yet. But I will be validating it in the next few days. And I happen to agree with Nancy, alot of people who are just guying the services are not coders nor do they really care about codes. They care about the look & feel of a site and if it works in all browsers equally the same.
I'm am still open for new clients. :D
Could not edit the thread :( My new web address is http://www.mpdesignz.com the old address will be taken down and a redirect will be linked to it.
