Setting up an online store - what's needed?

As titled - say I wanted to setup an online store, what would I need? I mean how do you structure such a thing and how do you deal with the finances etc. A scheme like that provided by http://www.netbanx.com would be out of the question - ie zero startup funds - so what are the options?

Well, since merchant accounts used to process credit cards cost several hundreds of dollars, your only option is to use a service like paypal.com or ibill.com. They charge a percentage from 7-15% to use their merchant account. This is one reason paypal has exploded in popularity in the past 18 months. Now, anyone can accept credit cards online. :D
