Well.. it appears a lot are asking for site reviews...

Um.. I guess I'll have to add to that :o

It's new and I'm somewhat new to this too.
Everything of course is welcomed -comments etc.

First, I'll just mention, I am thinking about redoing the colour scheme, it's a little dark.

The site was made for Explorer (checked it with Netscape too) at 800-600 resolution.

I'll be back later later on.
Much Thanks to any who want to say / suggest / comment on anything.
:)

As you said, too dark and difficult to read for me. Also, as far as I know, chromeless windows don't work in the latest IE release.

A very simple design, but correct

Tried my site with IE 6 (latest version) and the chromeless windows do work. However, the window is expanded to Full Screen. Is this a preference thing...? (asking out of curiosity) Okay if you want that, but I certainly don't.

NS 4.7, and NS 7 are okay. The ads from Geocities really ruins the look though :(.

Tried in Opera 6.5 ditto results, but no ads show which is a plus.

I wish the colours for the windows would show up for all browsers. :(

I will have to get rid of the little fading JavaScript on the first main page due to it not being seen in any browser except IE currently which is too bad but oh well :)

Thanks for the input so far though :D

at work we have IE5 ( i tried to get them to upgrade but no one cares lol )
the chromeless windows work as you specified ( not a big fan of them though )
i dont think you should use a chromless as your actual website, but thats up to you.

also the contrast could be better ....
keep up the good work :)

I get javascript errors on each page I try to view. Had to close site because nothing worse (besides popups) than a page opening full screen. Also a new page opening for each link is not pleasant. Other than that the site isn't too bad (I'm using IE4 btw).

kinda cool i'd say, except maybe u've got too many different font colors, makes it look kind of messy.
I'm using IE 6 here and the chromeless window's fine

oh BTW if u hate the ads then don't bother with geocities, try brinkster or freewebs, they're totally ads and popup free.

I get errors on every page due to the geocities ads seemingly being badly coded. I would find another host. :)

Other than that, I actually like it. :D

Weee.. thanks everyone :)
For now, I'll have to have Geocities til I check out those other sites suggested. Thanks.

About the chromeless.. I really like that effect, but it appears it's causing a lot of viewing problems for others. I'll have to work on a new design this weekend.

The full screen thing, is caused by IE lastest version. I didn't realize it did that til I tested it out at work. Bad :(

Another thing, regarding new windows opening for each link, that's a browser preference thing. I can not help that. My site only has about 4 links out of all that open seperately.

Dark colours and too many font colours, will work on it.

About the JavaScript errors, that's Geocities fault. >;p

::deep breath:: Okay, now back to work! I'll get this figured out soon enough :D

Thanks again everyone.

LOL sorry about that applesauce. Hope your eyes are okay :D Though I can't really help :o

I'll get rid of the chromeless! all, I promise :D

Just giv-me a couple days.

I thought the chromeless was something new and 'wowness' but I see and continue to see, it's not all that :>

I fixed that flashing thing.. um, got rid of the chromeless all together.
Now, it's just wonderful plain windows with coloured scrollbars (IE of course). That should help and it solves at least one of the problems brought up :o

I continue forth to make it better still, thanks for all the input everyone :)

Oh.. and I started an account with Brinkster. Just gotta figure out a few things. I once had an account with Freewebz, but I found the customer service not that great :( but anyhow, the main problem was the server speed. Although, at the time, I think it had to do a lot with the hundreds of graphics I had :o
So.. I'll leave it be.
