as far as styling form elements (the ones that CAN be styled)
which attributes arent cross-browser? or are all of them ok? (doubtful)
P.S. Excluding Opera of course ;)

most should be fine except check boxes and i think radio buttons might be a little wierd too.... colouring / bordering the area around them but not the actual box. most browsers do text boxes etc pretty much the same but some versions of mozilla seem to give them really huge borders... (as i remember anyways)

You can style everything in Moz.

IE poses restrictions.

I'm not sure about Opera 7, but Opera 6 and below offer no styling ability,

I don't think the drop down selection box's border can be changed...at least not in IE5...haven't tried it in 6 but didn't see any mention of it being changed. It's been a year since I've tried...Sorry...Not much help these days. :D

Opera 6 can style some stuff, but enough to be useful. as i recall, there are problems styling the button on a type="file".
