cursor: pointer,hand; ????

I've found this syntax searching here, but it doesn't work for me (nor several variations I tried)

In case you don't know, what I'm trying to do is get the 'hand' cursor to show up in IE5+ and Gecko. Gecko sees pointer and IE5.0 sees hand, and IE6 sees either. Not sure about IE5.5.

Anyone know what's up? I'm attaching this to an LI class.

I can't believe I tried

cursor: hand;
cursot: pointer;

and not

cursor: pointer;
cursor: hand;
