I really like trying new softwares...but in the process, i experience spyware programs, wrong programs leading to unistall, cleanings etc...

So can you recommend some programs for those users like me?

*i have tried MS Virtual PC (don't want to use much RAM)
Sandboxie (not all programs can run in the sandbox)
DeepFreeze/ShadowUser (hassle...you need to restart and do those stuff)

I'd say MS Virtual PC or VMWare

I'd use Virtual PC personally. You can select the max. amount of ram that you want VPC to use tho, cos that's what I did when I used VPC on my box.

If you want something just for texting software, if you've got a spare PC lying around then stick XP or something on it and just use that for testing software. I guess that's an idea worth suggesting.

VMWare server works quite well. It's free. Not to be confused with the commercial versions VMWare Workstation or VMWare Player.

You don't want VMWare player. That is why I said VMWare server. VMWare player only let's you play virtual machines that were created with either VMWare workstation (Not Free) or VMWare server (Free).
