hey guys..
i am in the middle of setting up my home network.. I have a netgear VPN switch which i set to update dyndns - as my IP is bt yahoo I think they sometimes change the IP you are on... anyway.. I registered with dyndns and set up my "domain name"... when I type in the domain <myuser>.homeip.net it just timesout... what should i be seeing? when I was logged on to my home network (ie: from home!) i typed the address and got to my bt homehub.
can i reference specific IP addresses on my network through the domain name? eg: my NAS is 192.168.0.10 - how would i access that?
ive searched for some tutorials, but nothing much came up which covered my question....
