i have a site and am trying to create a table like structure with out tables.
www.darkernights.com/photoblog/pg1.html
this is the page i'm working on right now.

/* --------------PHOTOBLOG-------------- */

.direction a
{
background-color: #888c91;
color: #d3d3d4;
padding: .3em;
}

.direction a:hover
{
background-color: #d3d3d4;
color: #000000;
}

p.direction
{
text-align: center;
clear: both;
}

div.photoblog
{
clear: left;
padding:1em;
}

img.phonepic
{
padding: 5px;
border: 0;
vertical-align: middle;
}

p.image
{
vertical-align: middle;
border: 2px;
width: 80%;
}

span.caption
{
color: #000000;
font-size: 10pt;
clear: both;
}

i want the photos to list downward with a caption to the right of them. but i dont want the line to move to the next line below the image. like a little paragraph next to each image.

any ideas?
