How do you use News on a forum?

I've seen other sites do it.. How do you do it so, that in your forum, you post some news.. then it automatically/or manually posts it in the front page of your site?

Can you do this by grabbing a few links, or do you need coding done?

The best way is to just use PHP. With PHP possibilities are endless :O

Some forums like IPB have an option to import and export RSS feeds.
