How to open a video(.mpg) in a player directly from CD

Hello,

I'm making an autorun CD to distribute my family clips that run directly from a CD. The video player is in the CD too.

So what I want to do is that when the cd loads :

1. Open an index.html page where I have the list of clips, photos and other information.

2. When I click on a movie link (paris.mpg) it opens a media player (e.g. XVid;-) video player http://xvidsquint.sourceforge.net/ ) present in the CD and plays the movie directly from CD.

Can someone help me with part 2. How can I create a link that opens a media player (no embedding) and plays the movie ?
