Image Map Drop Down Menus

Hi,
When a user mouseovers an image map I would like to create a drop down menu appearing directly below the image??

Does anyone have any examples of this kind of menu??

I can find loads of drop down menus but not using an image map...

Any help or ideas greatly appreciated!!!!

PS. It has to be IE and NS 7 compatable
