Rate my layout...

Hi peeps, I whipped this up today after getting the idea in the middle of my science exam. What do you think? It is all CSS so it should load quick.

If you would like to have a go at changing it you are more than welcome as I can never design something I like.

It looks clean, but I am not all that fond about the highlighting topic links on the top. They look somewhat iffy. Otherwise I guess it would be fine.

By the way, try doing some shadowed effects onto the name projectoddyssey, (and no not like what you would get with MSWord, but as if there was a light shining onto the name, with a large shadow-ey enlarged name that is behind it). It is hard to explain, but seeing as I am not on my own machine, I can't whip anything up to show y'all.

Menu can use some padding on the right
I would at least center "Project Odyssey" vertically on the green bar and possibly increase the size of the font.
Adding a logo in the top left corner would also be nice.

if no one had posted before me i would have said exactly what they did.
except i would remove the tables cellpadding, spacing.
i think it looks better when the colors touch eachother rather than being seperated.

something tells me your mind wanders during exams :D

Well, I had half an hour after re-checking my paper...to easy, didn't even require anything more advanced than s = ut + ½ at² although it had to be changed an rebalanced same deal though..easy:)

Anywho back to the topic...I have a logo I will put it in now and have a little play around with cell padding and spacing so I will post the link to the modified version when done.
