I have this junky old computer laying around that no one ever uses for anything, and I was wondering how do I install redhat fedora on it? I got here (http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/) but I don't know what to download or how to install it on my old computer.

You'll want to download the CD images. That page seems to have torrents for them, are you familiar with BitTorrent? You'll more than likely want the i386 versions. You might want to get the Fedora Core 5 final rather than the test ones for 6.

Once you download the images, you can burn them to CDs. Once then, you should be able to boot off the first disc in the computer you want to use. I assume they have some sort of installer that launches.

Use these installation instructions. http://stanton-finley.net/fedora_core_5_installation_notes.html You can also download from here http://www.fedora.redhat.com/Download/ and if you have questions there is an enormous amount of information at http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/index.php?
