First off, let me clear up the fact that im using rerular windows xp home/pro/media center on my network computers( which are mostly home use laptops). Well, I have a little computer office, and I have workers always to connecting to network that is broadcasted unscurely with a D-link router. I need to keep it unsecure and all, so that is not the problem. What I need is a software that I can use to monitor the activites of all the computers connected to the router, even bring their screen up if possible. I also want to be able to ban websites and probably even ban a computer if at all possible without securing my router.
Is this even possible? if so, please tell me how, I need that software! thank you...

Enter the router conf.
Look for something that says "Client IP Filter" or similar, then specify a range of IP's that you don't want to allow to connect to Internet. That way, if the computers you want to give access to the Internet go from let's say 192.168.2.2 - 192.168.2.7, just block everything after 192.168.2.7
Or you can just block a specific IP if that's what you need.

May I ask why you don't want to secure it? Don't tell me you are trying this http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=92246 :p

As far as a program that will let you see what the other compter is doing, I know it exists(they use it where I work), but I don't know it's name, and I'm not sure this is something you might be able to find on a software store.

EDIT(9/10/06 10:25PM): Oh I just read about the part of workers always connecting, so I figure thats why you want to keep it unsecure. If that's the case, you can still secure it, and whoever connects will ony have to ask and type the password once.

Well, I didn't want to secure it because I had it secured and people had problems with it. It works better this though, I dont care too much banning users, I meant for it to be a plus, but thanks anyways for the help. Im still looking for that software, I mean I could try buying it online even (on the companies expense of course :p )
I kind of want it to be like Network Magic, but that only shows you who is connected and lets you manage basic things, I want to be able to set up fire walls for wedsites like they have in public schools and also be able to bring up what users are doing who are connected to the router, thanks again...

The software that came with the router should allow you to setup firewalls. What router is it? Monitoring the activities is a different story.
I found this on download.com

http://www.download.com/Remote-Administrator/3003-7240_4-10032262.html?tag=toprated (pretty pricy)

More networking software can be found at the networking download site on download.com
