Yes I have chatspace version 2.0 free edition and just realized that they do not support registration of their free products so I was wondering does anyone know of chatrooms that look like yahoo's or msn's preferably for free? I don't really like having someone else host them I would prefer to host them on my own server.

I would be interested in this too. (I have a server which supports more or less absolutely everything).

But I couldn't get the free version of Chatspace, all I could get was a 30-day trial.

if you want a basic chat for a homepage or something, my favorite is www.quickchat.org fast registration and custom colors. and of course its free. (yes i am a cheap skate)

Is there any free chat service that offers a non-java applet application? I mean instead of java applet, Php or asp.
