out of curiosity, what's wrong with this one?

there is nothing wrong with this place, but I also think this is a more web desing/scripting forum. And there are other languages besides scripting out there. And when you when you want to learn C for example, you can't do it here. I learn alot from looking at other peoples questions and answers. But you don't have many C questions here, so I go to a board with nothing but C questions to learn. this is how I found this place, I was looking for a scripting forum (more specificaly PHP) and I found it, I like it and I stayed.
If posting links is against forum rules, then by al means, you can delete my post, I won't argue with that. But I think it is wrong to limit your knowledge, that's why I visit those places (ecxept gamedev, I stoped going there because I'm not a game dev.)

i just think it's kind of odd to ask where to find a programming forum, in a programming forum.

while the main focus of this Group of forums, may be web development, the topic of this particular forum, is programming in general, and most of the threads in this forum, have to do with Java, C, or some other "real" programming language.

maybe it's just me, but i thought it was kind of like standing in a bookstore, and asking where you could buy a book.

If I'm on one of those other forums and someone asks a question about webdevelopment, and I (or someone else) can't give an answer, then I'll say, try at www.codingforums.com and I'm sure you guys can answer any question. I don't think the goal for codingforums is to answer everyquestion about every language, is it?. I believe in specialization (sp?). that will emprove the quality of the posts (and this place in general).

But I understand your reactions.
I disagree with them, but I understand them :)
problem solved

is this slander the forum day?

and it is in specialization, being web coding.
added a few more (pc programming pc issues)
because lets face it, web coders use computers

there arent forums here about real estate is there?

hmmm, if I didn't like this forum I wouldn't have stayed. in fact I like this place alot. I was just giving my opinion. I'm not slandering (if this is a real word) this forum, not at all.

okay i understand

slander ( noun )
Oral communication of false injurious statement

although i guess technically this wasnt oral but you get the idea.

It doesn't make much sense to continue this thread, so I'll be closing it.
