sorry what the best way to setup automatic withdrawal from a checking account online. Im working on this website and I need to have it where the user can setup automatic payments monthly from their bank accounts.

You'd need to make use of the services provided by an online payment provider; Paypal (http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/about-outside) comes to mind, but there are others.

Also, any online financial transactions require a secure connection, for instance using SSL (among others provided by VeriSign (http://www.verisign.com/)).

Lastly, to arrange the administration, user identification and authorisation, etc, you'll likely need to build a server side application.

By the way: aren't services like this already provided by the users' own banks?

Thanks for the reply I will go ahead and use paypal that works. Yes this is provided by user's own banks but I need to create a form that accepts payments by credit or check and that also allows user's for automatic payment monthly.

Be very, very aware though that you simply cannot do without a secure connection if you are going to process financial transactions.
