post valuefrom popup to other page?

hi..
1. i want to know how the code that i can post value in popup windows to other page.
2. in the popup windows, when i click send button the program will post the value to another page and this popup will closed.
can u give me sample code javascript

Is this other page the one that opened it? The question lacks concrete details.

If that is the case than you can use window.opener.document.formeName.elementName.value = "foo";
