Sending email with cdosys

I've created a form on our intranet that emails using cdosys. The form will email fine as long as it goes to an internal email address but not to an external email address. Any suggestions?

i've just done the same thing myself, blundered my way through it but it worked fine, except for the posts i had here about aol rejecting all mail but i got that fixed now too.

the only settings i put in smtp server were

ip address: the ip of the intranet host machine
access authentication: anonymous
access connection, relay: given to the domain name


thats all i set as i went by trial and error and it worked right away. I didnt even have to forward a port through windows firewall. though i did that later on by setting smtp server as an exception.

You need to check that your mail server is setup to allow emails to remote domains.
