How to create this in photoshop

How can I create the "Registered Trademark" sign in photoshop? Do I have to use any plugins or something?

go to the start button in windows.
go to programs
go to accessories
go to system tools
go to character map
pick the font you want.
it's either 0153, or 0174, depending on whether you're looking for ™ or ®, respectively.

Note that some font sets do not allow for special characters, but you can easily recreate either one of those symbols with the standard type tool in PS, though it is easier to just enter the character itself. (also, more often than not, you can just copy the ® symbol and paste it in, rather than typing the code...but again, it depends on the font set you are currently using).

if you're on a mac you can just type option + r to get it.
