It's just the layout structure that I am interested in checking at the moment, and I'm not looking for help to fix any problems Here's the address:http://chreo.se/layout/fixednav.html
My questions:
1. Do the elements perform as expected: scroll bars appear on shrinking for ALL items, including footer and nav bars. The two navbars on the left have permanent scroll bars: it's a feature, not a problem. In the iframe (it's a real one) which is the whole content area, you should see four pictures, or long alt texts.
2. If there are problems, do YOU believe they are the kind that can be "fixed", or do they warrant a completely new approach?
Basically, this is a sort of copy of a table based page with iframes. It's for a school, the look is "prescribed" so to speak . . . very little room to implement completely new designs. The original is getting praise, would you believe it, I'm the only one who knows what a mess it is!
A note: I will be using the iframe for only one page: the weekly letters from teachers to pupils' parents. Heavy updating, much easier loading to an iframe, and easier to get good print-outs.
