Where to buy MySql databases

I installed a forum recently, and for some reason it's very slow. I know that this is slow because of my MySql database.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a site that I could buy a dedicated or shared MySql server.

Just about any competent hosting company will provide you with as much MySQL power as you need... for a price, of course.

How do you mean it is slow because of mysql database? Are your tables properly indexed? are you using properly formed queries that aren't inside loops or something equally silly like that?

or do you mean you are having problems because of the server load to your database is greater than the support given to mysql by your current host?
