Inseting Images into a GD file [Archive]

I would like to insert an image into a GD file. For example, i have a picture called "me.jpg" and i would like GD to put "me.jpg" into another file called "card.jpg" with the co-ordinates of 40, 70.

i cant find anything at PHP.net that comes close to this. is there a php function that can do this?
