I have enable welcome screen in my windowsXP Pro because i need to switch users often and i 'm aware that pressing Ctrl+alt+del twise shows you the login page.

Is there a way so that it will show only the login page and not the wecome screen and still allow user switching?

If you have a window key usually located around the alt or ctrl keys, you can press that key + L and it will show you the login screen that will allow you to switch users.

isn't there a possibility to do it automatically?

Not sure what you mean. Are you wanting it to go to login screen when you are idle for a certain amount of time? Its two keystrokes. How hard can that be?

You can't have fast user switching without the welcome screen. It makes sense too because all you do is point and click (and maybe type in a password, but then why not just remove the fast user switching?) on the welcome screen.

Your choices:
Login screen
Welcome screen
Welcome screen with fast user switching enabled
