Easy to select video, audio, and subtitle tracks. Also supports mkv. But you will still need to get the codecs for wathever you are playing. EDIT: Oh it doesn't support Real. My bad( i dont do that much real, so i wouldn't know). MPlayer seems to support most video formats. Look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_media_players rpgfan3233 08-06-2006, 04:51 AM I personally prefer MPlayer when I'm on Linux or Media Player Classic (comes with Real Alternative and Quicktime Alternative) when I'm on Windows. ken_shoti 08-07-2006, 05:53 AM Thnx! I'll try both Aradon 08-07-2006, 01:10 PM For video stuff I use Media Player Classic. When it comes to Audio I use Winamp, but that's for multiple reasons that have nothing to do with it's functionality. xd3vilx 08-07-2006, 01:47 PM For video, i use VLC player, it basically plays any format. For audio, i prefer to use WMW, simple and already installed in your window. :D jkd 08-08-2006, 03:14 AM When I used Windows, I did VLC for video and Foobar2k for audio. I used to be a Winamp person, but Foobar could play everything and was a much smoother experience. But definitely VLC for video... MPlayer has always been funny for me on Windows and OSX. |
