Internet sharing

I have two pc (win98 and xp)
So how can i allow the both to share internet connection (xp is the one connecting using its modem)

I'm already in the process, (both can share files)
there is a connecton icon in win98, and it allows it to disconnect and connect at anytime to internet by commanding the xp's modem to connect

but after the connection, i cannot surf the internet while the xp can.
So what shall i do?

Have you set it to share the connection under the Advanced Settings of the Properties of the connection under Network Connections?

Is the browser set not to dial a connection and instead use the LAN connection?

Yes i already set it in the advance tab.
Yes, it's also set to use lan

Check ur WIN98's ip. Did u set it to pick an IP address automatically? If yes, check to make sure it's picked an IP in the 192.168.0.xxx range. If not, you can troubleshoot from there.

Hm...so how to tell win98 to pick in that range?
