Glad that you got it fixed. A possible reason for you not receiving any help was that you posted in the wrong forum. There is a forum for flash stuff, its the multimedia forum.

You would need to change the flash output options. When you go to export its that drop down menu at the top of the window that pops up.

do you mean File/Export/Exportmovie? ("..export its that drop down menu at the top of the window that pops up.") I don't get it..
I have Macromedia flash 8, when I export it, it will only be viewable in a flash player 8... but I want my .swf in flash 8 to be viewable to other computers (probably 100+ computers in quantity) who only has flash 6 or even below..

Thats fine that you have flash 8. The export options allow you to choose the version of flash you would like it to be viewable on. I'm not sure what you don't get. When you go to File > Export > Export Movie its the first drop down at the top.

Give it a file name first, hit save, its the next window after that.

There's already a file name. I use publish settings but when u right click filename.swf go to properties you see "Flash 8"...
Now i did try to "save as" there's an option < Flash MX 2004 document (*.fla) > Is that what I'm looking for? When I save it as Flash MX 2004 then I hit Ctrl+Enter will that be on Flash 2004 format?:(

Thats because flash 8 is the version of the player you have. It has nothing to do with what version of flash it will play on. And no saving as Flash MX 2004 just means the .fla file will be able to open in Flash MX.
