Hey there, I'm a 16 year old amateur webpage designer. I started making webpages at age 12 and I have taken a highschool class on web design. I work in notepad and notepad 2. Over the years I have made some pretty bad websites but everyone starts from somewhere. If you could, rate my progress and methods. I belive critisim will help me improve and hopefully, as I get older, I will be able to make sites as good as the ones I see on this forum. Thanks.

(these are just some of the sites I still have hosted and they are in cronilogical order. They were made for clans of games I play/played)

Not bad a for a 16 years old. It is good for you to have goals in mind. My two cents would be focus on the contents of your sites - people go to your website because of the contents/info - not so much about appearance of the site. My two cents.

Hm, I didn't think about it like that. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the suggestions and I can see where you are coming from. I am making some changes on that page right now.

You have ALOT of bad/old code there. As you said you work in Notepad, I'm guessing you've learnt from a very poor resource.

If I were you I would start to learn valid (X)HTML and CSS.

w3schools.com (http://www.w3schools.com/) is a good place to start.

Well kind of in a way. I took a class in school and they taught us the outdated "table method". I'm studying css on my own right now and I haven't experimented with it yet. Once again, thanks for the constructive critisim.

If you want to look at some valid examples of CSS based designs, we have a thread here (http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=23475) that has a bunch.

Not bad for a beginner with a age of just 16. But there is always a place for improvement in every area.
Keep that in mind and Keep going..............
