Protecting your directory...

Java newbie here....


Does anybody know how I can "block" certain surfers from viewing my directory files? I've seen it in action before, but I don't know how exactly it can be done...


Also, does anyone have an ad popup blocker code that actually works?

To block access to a directory for specific IP addresses you can use .htacess files.


As for your second question you obviously did not read our forum rules when you agreed to them while signing up. We will not help you violate the TOS with your free webhost. You are now in violation of our TOS just for asking.

Get Mozilla, you can prevent popups showing. Not gonna get answers from here to stop putting ads on your site though.
