redesigned my blog, critique?

I was just gonna give it a quick overhaul, but it ended up being a redesign;

Looks great!!! Esp. in Fx, since IE can't deal with transparency with .png files. The colors look great. The titles for links is a cool javascript effect.

Of course, as you know, the images make my Fx slow to scroll.

My biggest complaint: in IE, the main navigation has some wierd hover effects. I haven't looked to see the cause, but you should take a look at that. Also, i think the background color (behind your .png's) should be a bit darker. I think that grey is too bright, esp. for your main navigation since it has those black boxes.

Other than that, i love it!

Looks fine overall. I would lose the CAPITALIZATION FOR THE TEXT HEADERS IN THE MAIN SECTION OF THE PAGE. If you want to indicate that they are headers either bold them or make them a larger font than the text following it. Other than that in IE your menu has some spacing issues when hovering over them. Causing the menu to look/act weird.

Hmm. Maybe compressing the pictures more because they are getting my firefox lagging when scrolling down and up...
