MHT problem

I have been sent a file with a .mht extension.
When I have clicked to open the file it opens as a web page.

I cannot seem to open it in dreamweaver.

Can someone please tell me what this file extension really is and how to open it up in dreamweaver or do I need some other software?

A little Googling (http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2005-42,GGLG:en&q=mht+file+extension) yielded the following page (http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=MHT), which explains what kind of file that is and how it works. My suggestion would be to find this file on your hard drive using Windows Explorer, copy it, then paste it into a new name with a .html file extension. I would think you'd then be able to edit it in Dreamweaver. If you still can't though, try contacting the person that sent it to you and see if they can resend it in another form.
