Lets say I have a page that targets pop-up pages. I do so you can ignore that " let say part ;) " . Now here's the issue. I can make the popup have a link to close it no sweat. But lets say a user was directed to that pop up page directly by a url. the link that closes it would just close the pop up or in this case the full page. Is there any way to make the said page look for an open parent page and then if it exists close, but, if it doesn't, open the page that is naturally the parent page?
in this case if there is a solution I don't care what it is really. Javascript, php or asp. my pop ups are being called off an asp page but they can recall the asp upon close either way. What i am looking for is some kind of checks and balances in this so the popup window either sees or doesnt see the original parent and then if it doesn't, closes and opens the parent page.
possible?
I looked I swear, just no know how to word my searches.
gracias,
alan
