JavaScript is a language.

The traditional paradigm for using javascript is from within the environment of a web browser.

If you're going to talk about "core java", you have broken the traditional and assumed paradigm for conversation about JavaScript and you must further specify your assumptions in order for anyone to engage in a meaningful conversation.

Is the core java an application you wrote? Does it need a JavaScript interpreter?

Are you using JSPs and want to talk about calling JavaScript functions from your server pages?

Are you working with a Java-based browser and need to know how to extend it's functionality using javascript?

Help us help you.

Is there still a question? I'm honestly confused. I think there's a slight language barrier, and I apologize for not being able to understand you easily.

If you still need help, could you post your question again, and perhaps some code?
