com port missing

i just install the Nokia Card Phone and it is automatically configured to use com port 5. but the device manager did not list any com5 port. why is this so? :confused:

Being able to manually configure the device? I thought this was a PCMCIA card so should have been more straight fwd.

you can add ports somewhere in the control pannel.
