Is it possible to add some alt text to Dreamweavers ready made flash buttons?

no that is not possible.. that is a flash object.. and those don't have alt text.. you can put a title on the object.. but won't do much good..

Correct forapathy, the usability of flash isn't that good, try this.

</object> With this you have a text equivalent fot your flash buttons. This is good for the usability.
