Font Question for Photoshop

Hi people,

im using a font at the moment on the image attached, as you can see, the background of the image appears through the font, is there a way to turn this off so i have white centre on all the letters without having to use the bucket tool? i just want the insides of the font to be white

nope. well not quite nope but pretty close.

that font is designed with a transparent inside.

with out using the bucket tool you can always ctrl+click the layer with the text on it. create a new layer and fill the selction white. move that under the text layer.
