Can someone suggest me a tutorial or give me some info about installing cf on mac OSX intel? I've bought an intel iMac and i've tried to install cf, but it doesn't works. By using the ColdfusionLauncher and selecting "start coldfusion MX".. after few seconds it displays "There has been an error starting ColdFusion MX 7, please check the logs."... i saw in the log, it reports "Could not create the Java virtual machine."

Sounds like you need a reinstall OR JVM needs permissions to run as a service.

As stated do you have the latest version of the JRE installed? www.java.com

Most likely Java is only installed as a x86 application, and Coldfusion MX is a PPC one. The emulation doesn't allow a PPC application to run an x86 plugin, so it simply won't work.
