I would like to have a song that would be streaming music to play on my first page, and then when someone goes into the site from this first page, the music (with luck :) ) could maybe continue to play as if it the page hadn't been changed...?
I hope I made sense.
Is this possible?
Thank you :)

I myself have pondered this, but unless you can start up the users media player, which you can't, there isn't much of a way. You could use a pop-up window that contains your music, or you could stick a small invisible frame on your page that contains your music. Hope that answers somewhat what you were asking.

the problem with music on your website, is that generally speaking, people have music playing while they use their computer. if they're not using winamp or some equivalent, then they're listening to the radio or a cd. so your music will either never get heard, or it will interrupt the music that's already being played.

Ah, quite right Joh6nn. I didn't consider that earlier. I myself always have some form of music going, and generally don't like the interruption from another web site...and it is usually some kind of music I don't like anyways. All in all, good point. Keep that in mind undyingfires.

Hehe, thanks you two. I think that after reading your posts, I'll have to agree. Music is something I'm always playing too and having to find that little media player in a mess of other windows to just turn it off to listen to some site's music.
Perhaps I will just make it optional. I like that pop-up window idea :) But make it a link instead.
Thanks a lot.
